Speedgolf USA proudly presents the 2026 Kentucky Speedgolf Open, a Major Series championship returning to GlenOaks Golf & Country Club β home to one of the most passionate Speedgolf communities in the country.
This two-day championship brings together elite athletes, amateur competitors, juniors, and first-time players for a dynamic test of speed, skill, and endurance. Known for its competitive depth and electric atmosphere, the Kentucky Open continues to be one of the premier stops on the Speedgolf USA calendar.
Whether youβre competing for a title or experiencing Speedgolf for the first time, this event delivers a unique blend of competition, community, and performance.

π 36-Hole Open - Professional
Entry Fee: $250
Competitors complete two 18-hole Speedgolf rounds (36 holes total) over two days, with final scores determined by the combined total of golf strokes plus running time.
π 36-Hole Open - Member
Entry Fee: $150
Two-day competition for amateur players seeking the full Speedgolf experience, with category awards based on age and gender.
β‘ 18-Hole Open
Entry Fee: $80
A full 18-hole Speedgolf round combining strokes and time for a single total score.
β‘ 9-Hole Open
Entry Fee: $25
A shorter-format Speedgolf race ideal new players.
π€ 9-Hole Team - Cart Division
Entry Fee: $40 per player
Two-player teams compete in a fast-paced 9-hole best ball format using carts. Teams combine strategy and performance, with lowest score determining winners.

Entry Fee: $25
Designed for athletes under 18, introducing young players to Speedgolf in a fun and supportive environment.
All individual divisions follow the official Speedgolf scoring system:
Score = Golf Strokes + Running Time
Example:
Golf Score: 80
Running Time: 60 minutes
Final Score: 140
The lowest combined score wins.
The Team Division is played in a best ball format, with ties broken by elapsed round time.
Tee times begin each day at approximately 6:30 AM (weather dependent), with players starting at regular intervals.

The 2026 SGUSA Official Rules of Speedgolf will govern play.
β’ USGA rules apply (modified lost ball/OB procedure β 1 stroke penalty)
β’ Timing begins at your tee time and ends at the finish line
β’ All-in-one clubs permitted
β’ No equipment on greens (1-stroke penalty)
β’ All equipment must cross the finish line with the player
Local rules will be distributed during tournament week.
Each player will be assigned a volunteer scorekeeper responsible for:
β’ Recording strokes and time
β’ Assisting with ball spotting
β’ Providing hydration and support
Players may bring their own scorekeeper. Volunteers are encouraged to register.
